Colorado Wine Country

We spent this past weekend in Grand Junction, Colorado, celebrating Grandpa's birthday by tasting Colorado wines. (There are quite a few good ones, actually!)

Sabine did beautifully the whole weekend, including taking a GREAT nap for over two hours of the drive, making the whole thing much more pleasant for everyone involved. Special thanks to Grandmom for additional hours of toddler entertainment.

As a nice surprise for both Sabine and Grandpa, Uncle Eric and Aunt Diana took the train out to join us.

Without further ado, the pictures:

In front of the mural at the winery where we stayed. Sabine thought it was a big train, so she "whoo-whoo"-ed at the mural quite a bit over the weekend.

Sabine and Grandmom, strolling down Main Street. Sabine is clutching a new favorite, Apple Jacks. We let her sample cereal while we sampled the wine.

Playing in the closet with her new eagle. Bird (as Sabine calls him, with her sign language) got a lot of hugs over the weekend.

Scrolling through pictures of FISH! on Aunt Diana's phone. It took Sabine about two nanoseconds to figure out how to use the iPhone. dumdumdum
