Sabine was off from school on Monday, so we picked up her good friend O, and took the girls down to the North Pole again. It is a long trip, but the girls all did great in the car, even though we had to squeeze into our little Honda Civic, because the Mazda's "check engine" light came on, so we didn't want to drive it that far. Aspen didn't nap, not even a 10 minute snooze in the car, and we were worried about what that meant. She was definitely tired and a little fussy, but hung in there.
Sabine and O had a blast on all the rides.
We were "allowed" to go on the train, but were instructed to sit in the very front, as far away from the big girls in the caboose, as possible.
And, of course, no visit to the North Pole is complete without a visit to Santa. Sabine reiterated her previous request for a purple princess dress she saw in a catalog.
And Mrs. Claus was a highlight this time, too. The girls really liked her!
