A quick recap of the past few weekends:
Grandmom and Grandpa came to stay with Sabine while mommy and daddy flew out to California for a quick trip to southern California for a wedding. They squeezed in a visit to Tiny Town and rode the train:
And then, of course, explored the tiny town.
We then spent the next weekend up in Breckenridge with some friends while it rained continuously on the front range. It was a nice, relaxing weekend for us, and special thanks to Nana for checking on our cats and house to make sure it wasn't flooding while we were gone! (We really lucked out, we didn't have any damage, but it was quite a week. There is still a huge clean up effort here in Colorado. I have never seen rain like that before.)
Unfortunately, Sabine started acting a little under the weather at the end of the trip, and by Monday (a week ago) she had come down with full-blown croup (as had, apparently, half her preschool.) So we spent the rest of the week doing variations on this:
Fortunately, this week was much more exciting, but I will save that for the next post!
