We knew there were some baby goats and lambs to see, much to Aspen's excitement, but it turned out there were also lots of baby chicks.

We got up to the condo in Winter Park in time to connect with Uncle Eric and Aunt Diana, who were just getting off the train from California. We all had a nice dinner together

before they had to take off.
We hit the slopes early on Sunday.

Sabine and C both went to ski school, and got to be in the same class, which made the whole day much better for both of them.

On Monday we all got to ski together.
(That's H in front, in the pink, followed by C, with Sabine right on her heels. Mommy's cousin Bob is following behind, and Lara is just in front of them in a light-colored coat, you can see her towards the end.)
Daddy and Aspen stayed back and kept the condo warm for us, and were always excited to see everyone after skiing. We spent a lot of time just relaxing

(This was iteration # 8 or 9. Prior to this, the song had Aspen squealing with laughter, but of course she demurred for the video.)
and even attempted the hot tub

...but it was pretty chilly and Aspen was not thrilled with the snow in her eyes and hair, and the bubbles coming up to her neck, so we didn't stay in long.
But we had some good meals together

and then our family came home on Tuesday afternoon, so that Sabine could get back to school for the rest of the week.
Fortunately, our visit wasn't quite over. We got to see the cousins again on their way out of town. They stayed with us again on Friday, and we all go to go out to dinner together.

It was a great visit, just too short, as always. We love you all so much, and can't wait to see you again before too long!
