The girls had fun meeting the characters, and then parading around the restaurant behind Pluto.
But from there, we departed Disney, and took a day to explore Universal Studios. Specifically, Harry Potter World! Sabine was in heaven.
Once we were in Diagon Ally, one of our first stops was Ollivander's, to get wands.
And we caught a quick show of Celestine Warbeck and the Banshees.
We visited some famous stores, including Flourish & Blotts
and Gringotts.
We took the Hogwarts Express over to Hogsmead,
where we had lunch at the Leaky Cauldron,
(Butterbeer was officially declared DELICIOUS.)
and we practiced magic with our new wands.
It was a successful day! And on our way out of Universal, Sabine found a hat that apparently her teacher has, so she wanted us to take a picture to send to her teacher. We haven't forgotten school completely!
