Fortunately, Nana Lin brought some stickers over the weekend, and the "kra-kra"s have been a huge success.
But both Sabine and I are getting a little stir-crazy, so yesterday we spent the afternoon at the mall. (I figure if you average our ages you get a teenager.)
Mostly Sabine liked people-watching. Particularly the groups of surly-looking teenage boys. She made sure to give an enthusiastic "HI-YEEE!" to each and every one. sigh. (I know I am officially OLD when my first thought was, "Why aren't those hoodlums in school?")
But then her attention shifted when we went into Pottery Barn. Lo, my girlie-girl continued to emerge. The ballerina jewelry box was enchanting.
The vacuum cleaner (or "broom-broom!") was thoroughly run all over the entire store. Multiple times.
But the real favorite was the retro kitchen set. We must have spent over half an hour turning every dial and inspecting every handle.
And testing the durability.
Then we went and looked at the train blankets to distract her enough to get her out of the store.
Overall, a successful trip, but we're definitely ready for some sunshine and outdoor weather around here, though!
Love the pics, sorry you were stir-crazed though...

That kitchen set is awesome! B would love it too. I don't even think he would mind that it's pink. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad the trip to the mall was successful. But next time you get stir crazy, if it happens to be on a Tuesday or Wednesday, come hang out with us. :) B is happy to share his "big bear" with Sabine -- and there's always the legos and train set.
