Finally. Something She'll Eat.

We've had a couple of snowfalls, but Sabine's only been outside to play in the snow once or twice because the temperatures have been so low. (Mostly in the single digits and teens, the last few weeks.) Here's her first experience:

Naturally, the first step is to taste it.

Not bad, apparently. She immediately went for seconds.

And thirds.

It was a success, even if we didn't really get further than our front step. Later, I showed her how to make a snowball. She was VERY excited, and held her "BAH BAH!" until I started to get nervous about how blue her fingers were turning.

Still, she is definitely a Colorado girl. She loved the snow. I just can't wait to get her on skis.
