On Friday we headed to Disney's Animal Kingdom. We started the day with our last character meal, breakfast at Tusker House.
Then it was off to explore Animal Kingdom, starting with a safari!
Before too long, we discovered Pandora. (From the movie Avatar.) It was absolutely incredible.
The girls even decided to get face paint like Avatars.
It was a successful day of rides, fun food, and shopping, but we were all worn out by the afternoon. So we headed over to Animal Kingdom Lodge to see if they could squeeze us in early for our dinner reservation at Boma, and with true Disney hospitality, they did. It was a delicious meal, and a lovely way to end a very special trip.
In Disney-speak, we had a magical time. "See ya real soon," Mickey!

Magic Kingdom Part II
On Thursday we rode the monorail one stop to the Grand Floridian hotel for a character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, where the girls got to meet a whole slew of favorite characters.
Then we were off to another day at Magic Kingdom!
We got in a bunch of rides,
as well as some more character meet and greets!
We were celebrating Aspen's birthday a little early, and one of the people who worked in a store noticed her birthday button, so she got an extra sprinkling of pixie dust, for the day!
We ended a very full day with a special dinner at Beast's castle.
And Aspen got a special dessert, as the birthday girl.
Sabine finally needed a break from the kids' menu, and ordered mussels for dinner. We had to take a picture to send to Grandmom, since that's one of her favorite meals, and she definitely approved!
We also all got to try "the gray stuff," and it was, indeed, delicious! (Tasted a bit like cookies and cream.)
And we capped off a night with a visit with Beast, himself!
